Why does he bounce apples? Empty Why does he bounce apples?

I can't help but wonder why he bounces an apple on his head. I think that he absorbs the apple through his skin.

It all started in his Igglybuffhood, he discovered Newton's theory through an apple falling on his head, he found he was good at bouncing it. In his Jigglypuffhood, he could bounce a big apple, and now, in his Wigglytuffhood, he can bounce a Perfect Apple, but the first one left some damage, and now he says "YOOM-TA!" , lseepwalks, and stands there vacantly at times.
